🌐 Overview

The Irregular Chat Single Sign-On (SSO) login allows users to access all community applications, websites, and data with a single login, ensuring convenience and enhanced security. This system utilizes a self-hosted Authentik or Github Group for authentication.

Single sign-on (SSO) simplifies the login process for users by requiring them to authenticate just once to access various services and platforms.

🛠 Setting Up Irregular Chat Sign-In

0️⃣ Step 0: Download Element Messenger

DO NOT create an account in this step until you receive a welcome link in the following step. Especially if you are on mobile, you will want to use the application. You can find the latest app for Desktop, iOS or Android here

1️⃣ Step 1: Receive an invite link from an Admin

Create an account and save your credentials using a password manager.

Bitwarden is free and trusted; see the mobile security guide for recommended password managers, or as a last resort, use your browser password manager

2️⃣ Join the Element Messenger Chat Server

See the Element Onboarding Guide when you have your account to proceed to using Matrix.

3️⃣ Step 3: Contribute to the Wiki and other services
